Section 13 of the BMT has its southern terminus on the NC/TN state line on the Cherohala Skyway. If you are hiking north to south, please pick up the trail descriptions in Tennessee.<br />
From its start on the state line, the trail runs almost due north for 13 miles to Farr Gap, passing Strawberry Knob, Cherry Log Gap, Chestnut Knob, Glenn Gap, Rockstack, Big Fodderstack, Big Stack Gap, and Little Fodderstack along the way.
